SHOW MERCY | Prisoners Week 2026
15–22 November

This year’s Prisoners Week theme, “Show Mercy”, invites us to recognise the dignity of every person and respond with kindness, understanding and practical support.

We invite parishes across Scotland to remember in prayer people in prison, their families and friends, victims of crime, prison staff, chaplains and all who care.

Parishes can take part by including Prisoners Week in their prayers and bulletins, sharing the campaign and reflecting together on what it means to show mercy.

Swipe through to find out more about the campaign, ways to participate and the national launch in Cumbernauld.

This Prisoners Week, who will you show mercy to?
